Football- MIDLANDS CHAMPIONS & NATIONAL RUNNERS UP- What a fantastic year for our footballers!! Both our Boys’ and Girls’ teams have achieved beyond what we have ever achieved before. Both teams became City Champions and competed in the County Finals at St. George’s Park. Our boys became County Champions and went on to the Midlands Regional Finals in Nottingham. Again they performed brilliantly and won the accolade of Midlands Champions. In May they had the fantastic opportunity of taking part in the National Finals on the ground of the Premier League Champions – The King Power Stadium, Leicester. Mr Cheadle’s lads reached and won the semi-finals and in the final lost only on penalties after extra time to a team from Jersey. We can genuinely say St. Teresa’s has the best u11s football team in England – Well done boys. What an achievement!!
